Charlotte has not been too interested in walking, which has been okay with me. She already is into so many cupboards and bookshelves that the added fun of walking is not something I've been wishing for. But she does need to walk sooner or later. I can't carry her around forever.
With the help of a doll stroller, she now LOVES to walk around. She has a little bike she pushes around too - the trouble with the bike is that she likes to stand on it like a stool. A stool with wheels is a bad idea no matter what age you are. Charlotte is by far my most active climber.
She has taken a few steps without help, so I'm sure she will be walking in no time. Savannah says that Charlotte doesn't want to learn how to walk, she just wants to learn how to run. I think she is right.

I know what you mean about carrying them around. Jade is 16 months and refuses to walk. Let me clarify that she CAN walk (she's taken as many at 10 steps) but REFUSES TOO. Good luck with Charlotte!!
ReplyDeleteHoly Patooties, Batman!!!! Charlotte isn't ever allowed to be old enough to walk!!!!! We're still saying Baby Madison around here!
